What’s a complete engine?

A complete engine is an engine that includes the cylinder block, fuel injection, turbo and timing belt, which assures reliability and fast assembly.

What’s the difference between used car parts and reconstructed parts?

The used car parts that we sell are branded, haven’t suffered any type of intervention and are most often taken out of cars with low mileage. The reconstructed parts are used parts that we restore manually and with some white-label pieces.

Do the car parts have warranty?

All of our car parts come with a warranty. The engines and the gearboxes come with a 1 year warranty. For the other car parts, we guarantee proper functioning.

What happens if a problem occurs with the parts?

If you have a problem with a car part that you bought from us – and it is still under warranty – you should contact us and dispatch it to us. We will then send a replacement or, if we are out of stock and unable to replace it, we will refund you.

How do I confirm the reference number of an engine?

Usually, the reference is stamped on the engine’s block. Depending on the brand, it may be a number or an alphanumeric reference.

How do you dispatch the car parts?

The car parts are dispatched by a carrier, usually CTT Express. If we are sending parts towards Madeira or the Azores, then after dispatching with CTT Express the car parts must be delivered to transit carried in Perafita, Matosinhos. The boats often sail on Fridays, with scheduled arrivals to the final destination/address on Mondays.

Can I track my order at any given moment?

Yes. Once you complete your purchase, you will receive an email with the order number and the tracking code. With that code you can track your order at the CTT Express website, so you can know the location of your order at all times. Follow it until it arrives at your home, mechanic or any other address that you have requested.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Cancellation, Return and Exchange

The conditions and the following terms are only applicable in purchases from www.jesusbaptista.com.

The client may cancel the order at any point until it is delivered and will be given a refund of all paid expenses. From the moment the client receives it, then it can be returned under the legal terms specified and indicated, namely, in Article 4 (J) , Article 10 and Article 11 in the Decree-Law 24/2014 14 February, altered by the law 47/2014 18 July.

The non-payment of an order in the following 4 days implies it has been cancelled.

In the terms of the Decree-Law 7/2004 7 January (with the changes introduced by the Decree 62/2009 10 March and by the Law 46/2012 29 August), regulating e-commerce, JESUS & BAPTISTA reserves the right to cancel order unilaterally in case of a programming error, operating fault in our computers or even due to a deformity in the purchasing order that compromises the contract.

The client has the right to terminate the contract without any costs in the 14 (fourteen) days following (i) the day in which the client or a specified third party that is not the carrier gains the possession of the product or in the case that (ii) the client or a specified third party, which is not the carrier, gains possession of the last good [in a given order] when the client has ordered several goods in a single order and the products are delivered separately.

In order to exercise the right to terminate the contract, the client must communicate the decision to cancel the contract to JESUS & BAPTISTA with an unequivocal declaration (for example, mail, fax or e-mail).

If the client prefers, they may fill in and submit by electronic means the cancellation form or any other unequivocal declaration through the website www.jesusbaptista.com .

So that the contract termination deadline is maintained, you must communicate your decision to terminate the contract to JESUS & BAPTISTA before the cancellation deadline ends.

In case of contract cancellation in the terms described above and if the product is returned in the conditions thereby described, all payments will be reimbursed to the client, including delivery costs, within 10 days following the return to Jesus & Baptista, after the company is notified of said cancellation.

The client must return the goods without unjustified delays after a maximum of 14 (fourteen) days after notifying Jesus & Baptista regarding the termination of the contract, which is considered effective if the client returns the products before the end of that 14 (fourteen) day deadline.

Even if the client intends to exercise the right to terminate the contract, the client must pay the total costs of returning the product(s).

In case the client wants to exchange the product, they may come to the premises of JESUS & BAPTISTA, or contact our client support team at www.jesusbaptista.com, who will give them all the information about the return & exchange process. The client shall not, in any case, return the products to JESUS & BAPTISTA before contacting us, or they won’t be accepted.

JESUS & BAPTISTA doesn’t accept the return or exchange of the products after they were used.

After contacting the Client Support team of JESUS & BAPTISTA and receiving information regarding the return and exchange process, you can send the wrapped product in the original packaging to the following address:

All products are inspected upon arrival and only those which fall under the return conditions will be accepted for exchange or refund.

In case of return and if the client chooses a refund, JESUS & BAPTISTA informs that the refund will only be processed after the product has been inspected.

JESUS & BAPTISTA reserves the right to not accept products that do not comply with these conditions.

 

2. Return Conditions

The client will always be responsible for the return costs, regardless of the reason that led to the return.

If the product (or products) are not as described and specified on the invoice and the client issues a complaint in the 14 days following the delivery, the return will be accepted.

Non-compliant products

All non-compliant products or products that are wrongly identified must be returned.

We will send another product with similar characteristics and price, provided they’re in stock. If that is not possible, then the client will receive a refund.

Wrongly identified product(s)

– If JESUS & BAPTISTA is to blame:

We will send another product with similar characteristics and price, provided they’re in stock. If that is not possible, then the client will receive a refund.

– If the mistake was caused by the client:

We will invoice the client an amount equivalent to 10% of the purchase, from a minimum of 10€ to a maximum of 50€, to process packaging, handling and logistics.

In case of potential incompatibility between car parts (different models), we do not take any responsibility. The client is responsible for making sure that the purchased product meets their needs. If it doesn’t, the client must provide 10% of the purchase value, from a minimum of 10€ to a maximum of 50€, to process packaging, handling and logistics.
